Race Description
The Hot Chocolate 5K is set to take place on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Kent Island Elementary School in Stevensville, MD. Participants can look forward to a scenic run along the Cross Island Trail, with perfect weather conditions anticipated and hot chocolate waiting at the finish line. In the event of inclement weather, an alternative date has been scheduled for March 2, 2025.
This family-friendly and dog-friendly race encourages community involvement and fitness during the winter months. Packet pickup will begin at 7:30 AM on race day, followed by day-of registration. An awards ceremony is planned for 10:00 AM, with prizes for top finishers in various categories, along with treats for all participating dogs.
