Race Description
The Hops, Hounds and Halloween 5K is set to take place on October 12th, 2024, at Kanine Social in Jacksonville, FL. This dog-friendly event invites participants to walk or run a 3.1 mile course while dressed up alongside their furry companions. The event supports the Jacksonville Humane Society and includes a costume contest for dogs.
Registration for the event is currently open, with participants receiving an exclusive race shirt, a pint glass, entry to the dog park, and other goodies. An exciting new feature this year is a runners-only wave to allow those aiming for personal bests to compete without their pets. Post-race festivities will include music, local vendors, and an awards ceremony.
