Race Description
The HomeRUN 5k & Derby is set to take place at Catharpin Recreational Park on November 17, 2024. This inaugural event offers something for everyone, whether participants are walkers, runners, or simply looking to enjoy a fun day outdoors. Proceeds from the race will benefit Stars Baseball's 12u spring season and support the Wreath's Across America initiative, which honors veterans at the Culpeper National Cemetery.
Participants can register for the 5k, the Homerun Derby, or both activities. The event begins at 8:00 AM with race bib and t-shirt pick-up, followed by the 5K start at 9:00 AM and the Homerun Derby at 10:30 AM. Medals will be awarded in various categories for the 5k and Homerun Derby, encouraging friendly competition among all age groups.
