Race Description
On October 19, 2024, the Russellville community will come together for the "His Fight Is My Fight" 5K fundraiser, aimed at supporting Tyler Schumacher and his family in their battle against Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The event, beginning at 8:00 AM at Russellville Junior High School, will feature a 5K race alongside a kid fun run to engage participants of all ages.
Participants can register for the event online, with costs set at $25 for early registration or $30 on race day. Proceeds from the event will help cover Tyler's medical expenses and recovery, with a silent auction also planned to further aid fundraising efforts. Everyone is encouraged to join in this community-based initiative to support a beloved local family during their time of need.
