Race Description
The Hilton Head Freedom 5K is set to take place on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, at the Port Royal Plantation on Hilton Head Island, SC. This annual event celebrates patriotism and honors those who have served in the armed forces with a fun run and walk, welcoming participants of all ages. Runners are encouraged to don red, white, and blue attire for a chance to win the 'most patriotic runner' award.
A portion of the race proceeds will directly benefit the Semper Fi & America's Fund, a charity dedicated to supporting wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families. The event's schedule includes packet pickup, a pre-race ceremony, and the race start at 8:00 AM, followed by an awards presentation at 9:00 AM. Participants are reminded that no dogs are permitted and carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking.
