Race Description
The Hero Hustle 5K, scheduled for May 17, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. in DeBary, FL, is set to be another exciting event in its 8th year, raising funds for the Kruid Charitable Foundation. With over 2500 participants in past years, this family-friendly run/walk event will offer the first 600 registrants a custom race medal, bib, and t-shirt. The race will feature professional timing and various awards for top finishers across multiple categories.
This year's event will also include a fun after-party with water slides, games, and a DJ for entertainment. Participants can pick up their packets on May 16, or on race day itself starting at 6:30 a.m. with the 5K run/walk commencing shortly thereafter. For those under 18, a kids' fun run will take place, allowing young participants to earn their finisher medals for free.
