Race Description
The HER Cause, Inc. 5K Walk is set to take place on November 16, 2024, in Oxon Hill, Maryland. This event aims to raise awareness and combat the stigma surrounding mental health issues specifically for Black women and women of color. Participants will gather to promote a positive message of support and solidarity while enjoying a scenic walk along the Potomac River.
Registration for the walk is currently open, and proceeds will support HER Cause, Inc.'s upcoming training programs and other operational costs. This initiative highlights the importance of mental health advocacy among BIPOC women and encourages community involvement in breaking down barriers and fostering understanding.
