Race Description
The Helena Sun Run is an upcoming event scheduled for October 5, 2024, featuring a timed 5 kilometer run and an untimed 1 mile walk and bicycle parade. The event will commence and conclude at Helena Food Share's new headquarters located at 1280 Boulder Ave in Helena, Montana, starting at 10:00 a.m. Its primary goal is to promote clean energy and raise awareness regarding climate solutions in the capital city of Montana.
Participants in the Helena Sun Run can look forward to a commemorative surprise item for the first 300 registrants, highlighting the fun community aspect of the event. Additionally, registration is free for children aged 12 and under, encouraging family participation and support for a worthy cause. All proceeds from the event will go towards the installation of solar photovoltaic arrays for the newly constructed facility of Helena Food Share.
