Race Description
Helen's 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, at Sands Point Preserve in Long Island, New York. This USATF Certified event aims to raise funds for individuals who are blind, have low vision, or are DeafBlind, promoting an inclusive environment for all ages and abilities.
Participants can expect a scenic route through the beautiful Sands Point area, with registration opening from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM and the official start time at 9:30 AM. Registration includes a T-shirt for those who pre-register by October 15th, along with post-race refreshments. Funds raised will support Camp Helen Keller, providing summer camp opportunities for children with vision impairments.
