Race Description
The Healthy Kids Running Series returns to West Oak Lane, PA for its Fall 2024 session, providing a five-week running program for children from Pre-K through 8th grade. Each event is designed to be age-appropriate, with various distances including 50 & 75-yard dashes, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and 1-mile runs. This engaging series encourages kids to be active and have fun while competing and earning points based on their race finishes.
Participants who register will receive race bibs, a runner shirt, a finisher medal, and potential sponsor giveaways over the five weeks. The event also features a Challenger Division for children with disabilities, ensuring inclusivity and support for all runners. Medals are awarded to all participants on the final week, with trophies for top finishers across different age groups. The program aims to foster a sense of community and inspire a love for running among kids.
