Race Description
The Healthy Kids Running Series is set to return for its Fall 2024 season in Cypress, TX, kicking off on November 3, 2024. This program encourages kids from Pre-K to 8th grade to participate in weekly running events, designed to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among children. Each week, participants will engage in age-appropriate races, earning points based on their performances.
The event, held at the D. Bradley McWilliams YMCA at Cypress Creek, features various race distances including 50 & 75 yard dashes, as well as longer runs up to one mile. Participants can also enroll in a Challenger Division, an adaptive race for children with disabilities. Registration for the five-week series is now open, providing kids the chance to compete, earn medals, and enjoy community engagement through running.
