Race Description
The Healthy Kids Running Series is set to kick off its Fall 2024 program in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. This event offers a five-week running program aimed at children from Pre-K through 8th grade, featuring age-appropriate distances including dashes of 50 and 75 yards, and runs of 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and 1 mile. Registration is currently open, and participants will earn points for each race completed based on their finishing position.
In addition to standard youth races, the series will include a Challenger Division, designed for children with disabilities and special needs. This inclusive approach allows friends and family to accompany participants on the course for support. All participants will receive medals on the final week, and trophies will be awarded to top finishers in various categories. The event will take place at Hills - Hendersonville Elementary, with an estimated makeup date for missed races.
