Race Description
The Healthy Kids Running Series is set to return for the Fall 2024 season in Anacostia/Kenilworth, DC, providing a fun and engaging running program for children from Pre-K through 8th grade. This five-week series allows kids to participate in age-appropriate races, including dashes and longer distance runs, and encourages physical activity and camaraderie among peers.
Registration is currently open, with early bird pricing available until three weeks before the first race event. Participants will receive race bibs, a runner's shirt, and a finisher's medal upon completion. The series celebrates inclusivity by offering a Challenger Division for children with disabilities, supporting them to run alongside their families and friends. The series culminates in an awards ceremony, where medals and trophies will be presented to the top finishers.
