Race Description
The Healthy Kids Running Series is set to kick off its fall program in Altamonte Springs, Florida, starting on September 29, 2024. This five-week running initiative is designed for children from Pre-K to 8th grade, encouraging youth participation in age-appropriate running events. The series will feature races such as dash events of 50 and 75 yards, alongside longer distances including quarter-mile, half-mile, and one-mile races, allowing kids to earn points for their performance.
The series also includes a special Challenger Division, providing an adaptive race option for children with disabilities or special needs. Each participant will receive a medal at the conclusion of the series, with trophies awarded to top finishers across various age groups.
