Race Description
The Healthy Buffalo Kids Tri, scheduled to take place on August 9, 2025, at Beaver Island State Park in Grand Island, NY, is a non-competitive triathlon event aimed at introducing children to the world of triathlons. This event focuses on fun and participation, offering young competitors a chance to engage in swimming, biking, and running activities tailored to their age groups.
The event features two age categories: youths aged 10 and under will participate in a 50-meter swim, 1.5-mile bike ride, and 0.4-mile run, while those aged 11 to 15 will take part in a 150-meter swim, a 3-mile bike ride, and a 0.8-mile run. All participants will be awarded a custom swim cap, T-shirt, and finishers medal. Registration for the event is currently open.
