Race Description
This year's 23rd Annual Halifax Health - Hospice 5K Run and Walk is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at 8 AM in Port Orange, Florida. The event aims to support the Halifax Health - Hospice Family Caregiver Program, which plays a critical role in promoting the health of both patients and their caregivers. Participants and supporters are encouraged to register online before the registration deadline on October 31st at noon.
Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top male and female competitors in specific age categories ranging from 0-9 to 80+. Participants can pick up their race packets on November 1st at the Port Orange Hospice Care Center or on race day. With a focus on community support and fundraising, the event is a significant occasion for the local area and seeks to foster a spirit of giving through donations to the hospice services.
