Race Description
The third Annual H.E.R.O. Freedom Run is set to take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Freedom River in Brighton, Michigan. This event features both a 1 mile fun run and a 5K run/walk, designed to support veterans and their families through the non-profit organization, Freedom River, Inc. The race is scheduled to kick off at 8:30 AM with the fun run, followed by the 5K run/walk at 9 AM.
Participants in the H.E.R.O. Freedom Run will experience a cross country course that combines trails, fields, and slight hills. The event features chip timing, with live results posted during the race. Registration includes a commemorative T-shirt, free parking, and VIP passes for the Hamburg Family Fun Fest. The event aims to raise funds to aid veterans in their recovery and rejuvenation efforts, making it a significant occasion for the community.
