Race Description
The Guiding Light 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on October 19, 2024, at Millennium Park in Grand Rapids, MI. This annual event, organized by Guiding Light, aims to raise funds for programs supporting individuals recovering from addiction. Participants can look forward to a scenic 3.1-mile loop that starts and finishes at the Grant Pavilion.
Runners and walkers can check in as early as 7:30 AM on race day, with races commencing at 9:00 AM. Families and dogs are encouraged to attend, with provisions made for snacks and water. To ensure participants receive a t-shirt in their preferred size, registration must be completed by October 1. Proceeds from the event directly benefit Guiding Light's mission to aid individuals in recovery.
