Race Description
The Grand Rapids Kids Marathon is set to take place on October 19, 2024, at the David D. Hunting YMCA in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Geared towards children aged 2 to 12, this event encourages kids to engage in physical activities and adopt healthy lifestyles. Registration is currently open and free for interested participants.
As part of the event, children will complete the final 1.2 miles of their marathon on the official Grand Rapids Marathon course. Along with receiving official race bibs and T-shirts, all finishers will be awarded a medal and a certificate. Pre-race community events include a 1-mile Kick-Off run and an obstacle course, fostering a spirit of fun and fitness among families.
