Race Description
The Grand Blue Mile, established by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield in conjunction with the Drake Relays, aims to promote healthy habits and recognize personal achievements. Since its inception in 2010, the event has attracted over 50,000 participants from 47 states, six countries, and four continents, showcasing its widespread appeal and community support.
Scheduled to take place from April 19 to April 27, 2025, in Downtown Des Moines, Iowa, the Grand Blue Mile is a one-mile street run that caters to all ages and abilities.
