Race Description
The Friends of Weedon Island are hosting the 12th Annual Gopher Weedon 8K Trail Run on October 26, 2024, at the Weedon Island Preserve in St. Petersburg, Florida. This professionally-timed event features a scenic 8-kilometer course that showcases native Florida habitats and offers beautiful views of Tampa Bay.
Participants can look forward to a variety of amenities, including a technical race T-shirt, professional race timing, and refreshments post-race. The event aims to promote environmental preservation and education, with all proceeds benefiting the Friends of Weedon Island, Inc.
