Race Description
On October 19, 2024, participants will gather for the Golden Gate Bridge Run, Walk, Ride to End Polio. This event is organized by Rotary District 5230 and aims to raise awareness and funds to combat polio. Starting at 9:00 AM from the Battery East Parking Lot in San Francisco, participants can choose to run, walk, or ride across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
The event not only encourages community involvement but also offers refreshments for purchase at the Golden Gate Welcome Center. Each participant will receive a commemorative pin, and entry is open to anyone, not just Rotarians. The event is expected to conclude by 2:00 PM, providing ample time for all activities.
