Race Description
The Goblin Gallop for Recovery 5K at Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) is set to take place on October 25, 2024. Organized by Burke Recovery, the event invites both runners and walkers to enjoy a scenic 5K course that winds through the picturesque campuses of WPCC, NC School of Science and Math (NCSSM), and the NC School for the Deaf (NCSD). Participants can look forward to an evening race featuring glow sticks and Halloween-themed costumes, with prizes awarded for the best costumes.
Registration is currently open for the event, with early bird pricing available until October 1, 2024. Participants will receive a cotton-polyester blend long-sleeve t-shirt or sweatshirt as part of their entry. Awards will be given in various categories, including top overall males and females, along with age group awards. Packet pickup and last-minute registration will be available on race day, but participants are encouraged to register early to guarantee their shirt size.
