Race Description
The 12th Annual Gobbler 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is set to take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2024, at Starkey Park in New Port Richey, Florida. This family-friendly event invites participants to run or walk through the scenic park while supporting local students, with all proceeds benefiting First Christian Academy.
Participants in the Gobbler 5K will enjoy a chip-timed race, receiving a finisher’s medal, race t-shirt, and backpack. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group. The event also features a 1 Mile Fun Run open to all ages, ensuring a fun day for the whole family, including pets. Pre-registration is encouraged due to limited availability, and packet pickup will occur on the day before the race.
