Race Description
The 6th Annual Glow Run 4 Recovery 5K is set to take place on October 19, 2024, in Charleston, West Virginia. This event is recognized as Charleston's largest recovery community gathering, offering a unique night run/walk experience accompanied by a vibrant dance party. Participants will gather at Magic Island on Kanawha Blvd, enjoying live performances and various recovery resources throughout the evening.
The Glow Run encourages community involvement, with activities ranging from a foam machine slip-n-slide and bounce house for kids to glow face painting and a splash pad. The race begins at 8 PM, and attendees are urged to check in by 7 PM. Pre-registration for the timed race costs $30, while those opting for a t-shirt only can do so for $20. Everyone is invited to join in on the fun, emphasizing that you don’t need to run to participate.
