Race Description
The Glow for Gold 5K is set to take place on November 23, 2024, in Midlothian, Virginia. The event aims to foster a fun and welcoming environment where participants of all ages can engage in physical activity while supporting childhood cancer research. Proceeds from the race will be donated to Cookies for Kids Cancer, an organization dedicated to funding research for less toxic pediatric cancer treatments.
The event will feature a kids' 1-mile race at 3 PM for children aged 11 and under, followed by the main 5K event at 4 PM. Participants are encouraged to register early, as late registration may not guarantee a t-shirt and could incur an additional fee.
