Race Description
The Glacier Glide Nordic Race is set to take place on January 4, 2025, at the Glacier Nordic Center in Whitefish, Montana. This annual event, organized by the Glacier Nordic Club, offers participants a variety of racing options, including classic and skate races of 3.5km and 10km distances, alongside a fun 1km cookie loop race for children. With its roots dating back to 1983, the event has become a cherished tradition for both local and visiting skiers.
Racers have the opportunity to compete in combined events for prizes, with special awards for the first male and female winners of the Viking Pursuit Challenge, who will receive free entry into the 2026 American Birkebeiner 50km race.
