Race Description
The Girls on the Run 5K Run/Walk event will take place on November 17, 2024, at Mission County Park in San Antonio, Texas. This event aims to inspire young girls by promoting joy, health, and confidence through running and a fun, experience-based curriculum. The 5K represents a culmination of their fall season, allowing participants to experience the bond of accomplishment as they cross the finish line together.
Participants can register for the event at a fee of $30, which will increase to $35 starting September 15, and $40 on race day. Packet pick-up is scheduled for November 13 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Girls on the Run Bexar County, as well as on race day from 7 am to 8:45 am at the race site. This event is open to the public, encouraging everyone to join and support the cause while celebrating the achievements of young girls.
