Race Description
The 18th Annual Gene Van Wyk 5k Memorial Run/Walk is set to take place on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at Pella Christian High School, located in Pella, Iowa. The race will begin at 9:00 AM, but participants are encouraged to arrive early for packet pickup between 8:00 and 8:45 AM. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and strollers of all ages, promoting a community spirit.
Participants can register online, with special rates for students and adults. The first three finishers in each of the seven age categories, as well as the top male and female runners, will receive awards. Each registrant will also receive a free T-shirt, a post-race hot breakfast, and access to showers, enhancing the overall event experience.
