Race Description
The Gaspee Days 5k Foot Race is set to take place on June 14, 2025, in Cranston, Rhode Island. This annual event attracts over 1,600 runners who race along a 5K course that features the iconic red, white, and blue road stripe, right before the Gaspee Days Parade. Participants can either compete for prizes or join in the fun to support a cherished community tradition, with proceeds funding the Gaspee Days Parade.
Scheduled to begin promptly at 9:30 AM, the race follows a route that heads south on Broad Street before returning north to the finish line past the parade reviewing stand. Post-race festivities will include complimentary refreshments and a beer for registered runners aged 21 and over, as the event encourages runners and families to enjoy the celebrations of the Gaspee Days Parade that follows immediately after the race.
