Race Description
The 36th Annual Galax Autumn Days 5K Run is set to take place on October 19, 2024, starting at Felts’ Park in Galax, Virginia. Participants can register for the race on the same day with registration open from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM for the 5K event and until 8:45 AM for the 1-Mile Kid’s Race.
Runners can enjoy a flat course running alongside Chestnut Creek with a portion through the New River State Park. Notable awards are offered for overall winners and top finishers in various age groups, alongside special prizes for breaking course records. This event not only promotes health and fitness but also community engagement in Galax.
