Race Description
The Gainesville Marathon, set to take place on February 23, 2025, offers a variety of distances including a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. The event begins at the Farmers Market and is designed to support the North Texas Food Bank while raising funds for Christian Missionaries.
Participants will run through scenic routes in historic downtown Gainesville, featuring notable landmarks such as the train station and the vintage Gulf gas station. The course winds through the beautiful hills of Cooke County and concludes in Leonard Park, with traffic managed to ensure safety for all runners.
