Race Description
The Frosty Freestyle & Krazy Klassic Cross Country Ski Race is set to take place on January 11-12, 2025, at Huron Meadows Metropark in Brighton, MI. This annual event brings together cross country ski enthusiasts of various skill levels, offering both 12km and 5km race distances on either man-made or natural snow. Participants are encouraged to register online ahead of the event, as no on-site registration will be available.
With a combination of competitive racing and community fundraising, the event will also contribute to local skiing initiatives, including the development of trails and rental equipment. Registration before December 31, 2023, will allow racers to take advantage of early discounts, making this a more accessible opportunity for winter sports lovers. The races will be held on the scenic trails of Huron Meadows, which are enhanced with snowmaking equipment to ensure optimal skiing conditions.
