Race Description
The French Broad 10 Mile Relay is set to debut on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the French Broad River Greenway in Asheville, North Carolina. The event features a unique two-mile loop course that teams of five will complete to achieve a total distance of ten miles, with the Start/Finish area located at approximately 15 Riverside Dr.
This inaugural relay race not only promotes fitness and teamwork but also honors the contributions of women like Jean Webb, Karen Cragnolin, and Wilma Dykeman, who worked to protect the French Broad River. Proceeds from the event will benefit RiverLink Asheville, furthering its mission in the community. Registration is currently open, with a team entry fee of $150 for groups of five and no individual registrations allowed.
