Race Description
The Fort Custer Norwegian Foot March, scheduled for March 23, 2025, at Fort Custer in Augusta, Michigan, is an endurance event that tests the physical capability of participants. This historic march, originally established in 1915 for Norwegian soldiers, continues to be a significant event hosted by the Michigan Army National Guard Officer Candidate School, with a challenging 18.6-mile course requiring a weighted ruck.
Participants must complete the march within a time limit of 4.5 hours while carrying a ruck weighing 25 pounds. This is a pass/fail event and no refunds are offered. In addition to achieving the time standard for badges and certificates, all attendees will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Registration has begun with limited slots available, and those interested are encouraged to sign up promptly.
