Race Description
The Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon, recognized as "America's Toughest Road Marathon," will be held on April 12-13, 2025. This challenging marathon features an elevation change of over 7,430 feet and is the only marathon that runs along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Proceeds from this nonprofit event will benefit local charities and the parkway itself, making it a significant contribution to the community.
Participants can choose from multiple event distances, including a full marathon, half marathon, relay, and 10k. Each runner receives unique finishers' medals, shirts, and local craft beer at the festival-style finish line in downtown Roanoke. Additionally, the event has the Blue Ridge Double option for those looking for an extra challenge. Registration is currently open, inviting runners to experience this remarkable race.
