Race Description
The 'Flannels and Flapjacks' trail run is set to take place on October 26, 2024, at Wainer and Inspiration Parks in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. The 5K race encourages participants to wear flannel or flannel-patterned clothing, adding a thematic touch to this unique event. Registration is currently open, allowing runners to secure their spot in this flavorful celebration that features pancakes as a key attraction.
In addition to the race, each registrant will enjoy a complimentary stack of pancakes, with additional stacks available for purchase. Water, hot cocoa, and coffee will also be provided. Proceeds from the event will support improvements to the Washington Township parks, emphasizing the community aspect of this event. Participants are reminded that this is a trail run, featuring challenging terrain with rocks, roots, and steep inclines, making it distinct from a typical 5K run.
