Race Description
The 11th Annual Firecracker 4 Miler is set to take place on July 4, 2025, at Laurel Hill County Park in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This beloved community event promises a festive atmosphere as participants run through scenic trails while celebrating Independence Day with family and friends. Race packets will be available from 7:30 AM on race day, ensuring that all participants are prepared for the challenge ahead.
In addition to the main race, a kids' race will follow once the majority of the 4-mile runners are finished, typically around 9:45 AM. Organizers advise racers to stay hydrated due to the expected hot and muggy conditions. Proceeds from the event will support Newberry College Track & Field and Cross Country programs, highlighting the event's community spirit.
