Race Description
The 12th Annual “Taking Strides Towards Wellness” 5K Run/Walk is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ. This race will follow a flat paved trail that runs alongside the scenic Raritan River, providing a picturesque setting for participants.
Registration opens at 8 AM, with the run/walk commencing at 9 AM and an award ceremony planned for 10:30 AM. Participants are encouraged to register early to receive a complimentary T-shirt if they sign up by September 21, 2024. The event aims not only to encourage physical fitness but also to raise funds for Family & Community Services of Somerset County, which supports mental health and addiction treatment services in the local community.
