Race Description
The 14th Annual Faithful Friends 5K & Mutt Mile is set to take place on Sunday, September 29th, 2024, at Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, Delaware. This popular event, known for being the largest dog-friendly race in the state, serves as a significant fundraising initiative for the Faithful Friends Animal Society.
Participants can enjoy a scenic cross-country 5K course or opt for a more casual experience with the Mutt Mile, both timed by Fusion Racing. This year, alterations have been made to the race courses due to ongoing construction at the Figure 8 Barn, moving the event to the Bandshell area of the park. Additional activities planned for the event include a doggy costume contest, food trucks, and opportunities to meet and greet adoptable dogs.
