Race Description
The Creighton School of Medicine's Facial Plastic Surgery Interest Group is proud to announce its inaugural philanthropy event, the Faces Valued 5k Run/Walk Fundraiser, taking place on September 28, 2024, at the Chalco Hills Recreation Area in Omaha, Nebraska. Participants are invited to enjoy a refreshing run or walk while supporting a worthy cause, with check-in starting at 8:00 am and the event kicking off at 9:00 am.
Funds raised from this event will directly support medical missions organized by the nonprofit Faces Valued, which facilitates life-changing surgical procedures for patients suffering from conditions such as cleft lip and palate, burns, and head/neck cancer. The event promises exciting incentives for participants, including custom 3D printed trophies for the top male and female finishers, along with refreshments and merchandise for all attendees.
