Race Description
The Eye of the Dragon 10K & Tail of the Lizard 2 Mile is set to take place on February 16, 2025, at the Eau Gallie Civic Center in Melbourne, Florida. This event will feature a certified 10K race starting at 7:00 AM, followed by a 2-mile run at 8:30 AM. Organized by the Space Coast Runners, this marks the 37th edition of this popular race, which is part of the SCR Runner of the Year Series.
Participants can look forward to several exciting aspects, including the 'Slay the Beast Challenge,' where finishers of both races will receive three medals. The event promises a festive atmosphere with a dragon dance pre-race and post-race refreshments. Registration is currently open, and early entries are encouraged to secure guaranteed race shirts. As always, the race will proceed rain or shine, with no refunds issued.
