Race Description
The Extraterrestrial Full Moon event is a unique running experience held along the famous Extraterrestrial Highway in Rachel, Nevada. Known for its high number of UFO sightings, this location transforms into a runners' paradise, combining stunning desert vistas with the mystery of Area 51. The event features various race distances, including a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 51K, all scheduled around the full moon, promising a magical running experience with beautiful twilight and moonrise.
Scheduled for the weekend closest to the full moon, the next races will take place from May 10 to May 11, 2025. With a start elevation between 4000 and 5600 feet, participants can expect cooler temperatures, especially at night, making it an ideal setting for running.
