Race Description
The 9th Annual Eternal Rest 5k run/walk is scheduled to take place on October 12, 2024, at the Wilmington & Brandywine Cemetery in Wilmington, DE. Participants will enjoy a scenic course designed to raise funds to maintain the historic cemetery grounds, with day-of registration starting at 3:00 PM and the race commencing at 4:00 PM. The route features a fast flat race with a challenging uphill finish.
Post-race festivities will begin as soon as the first participants return, featuring food from El Diablo Burritos and beverages. Attendees are encouraged to join the after-party to celebrate the day's efforts. Should inclement weather occur, the rain date is set for October 26, 2024. Parking is available near the cemetery's Delaware Ave. front entrance for convenience.
