Race Description
The Escape Belle Isle 5K Run and Ruck, set for May 3, 2025, in Richmond, VA, aims to support service men and women during Military Appreciation month. Participants can expect a scenic experience with views of the river while traversing Belle Isle. Competitive racers and casual runners are invited to take part, with activities including the 5K run and ruck scheduled to start in the morning.
This fundraising event will benefit Semper Fi & America's Fund, a non-profit organization that provides financial support to critically wounded service members and their families. Participants who register by April 21 will receive a commemorative shirt, and awards will be handed out to the top three finishers in both the running and rucking categories during a ceremony following the race.
