Race Description
The Annual Leftovers 5k is set to take place on Thanksgiving at Waterford Landing in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Participants are encouraged to bring a jar of peanut butter along with their registration fee of $5, which will benefit the community. The event will feature a fun atmosphere with a relaxed tone, allowing families and friends to participate together.
The race will begin at the Waterford Landing Club House, with runners navigating through trails and golf cart paths. While the course is slightly longer than the standard 5k at approximately 3.2 miles, it is stroller-friendly in sections. Event organizers have capped the race at 100 non-residents to manage parking, and participants will enjoy the unique experience of selecting their own medals post-race.
