Race Description
The annual EPFD Freaky 5k is set to take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM. Organized by the East Providence Fire Department Local 850, this fun road race will see participants run through the scenic neighborhoods of Rumford, Rhode Island. Runners are encouraged to don costumes, as prizes will be awarded for the best racer and best costume along with a T-shirt included in their registration.
This year's event promises to be festive with DJ entertainment and post-race refreshments available for both participants and spectators. The proceeds from the race will benefit the EPFD Local 850 charity fund, which supports various initiatives within the East Providence community.
