Race Description
The Endurance Physio Strength and Preparation Training classes are set to commence on February 10, 2025, in Missoula, Montana. These programs aim to enhance muscle, joint, and tendon health while also promoting stability and motor control, specifically designed for activities such as running, biking, and skiing. Catering to various skill levels, the classes will be led by experienced physical therapists who will guide participants through proper lifting techniques and strength training tailored to improve durability and performance.
Spanning over 10 weeks, the Spring session will feature classes held twice a week, with a break during Spring Break week, effectively totaling 20 sessions. Participants can look forward to a focus on progressive loading exercises targeting the knees, hamstrings, and Achilles, along with supplementary strengthening for the hips, core, and upper body. This comprehensive approach aims to diminish the risk of overuse injuries commonly associated with endurance sports while enhancing overall athletic performance.
