Race Description
The Encouraging the Nations 5k is set to take place at the Statesville Recreation Center on February 8, 2025. This event offers a fun and flat course that is ideal for both beginners looking to make their first race or for experienced runners hoping to achieve a personal record. The mostly paved route includes scenic areas, making it an inviting race for all participants.
Funds raised from the race will support the Encouraging the Nations nonprofit organization, which focuses on providing international support for missions, particularly in Uganda. The event aims to assist with the construction of the Rehoboth Christian Village Orphanage and support a team traveling to conduct various conferences and clinics in Uganda later this year. Participants are encouraged to join in this meaningful cause while enjoying a day of running and community.
