Race Description
The Eighth Street Elementary Tradition Trot 5K and Fun Run is set to take place on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, at Ocala Citizens' Circle. This annual event invites participants to run through the scenic and historic downtown area of Ocala while supporting the local neighborhood school. The 5K will commence promptly at 8:00 AM with awards handed out immediately afterward, followed by the fun run starting around 9:15 AM.
Participants in the 5K will receive a t-shirt (if registered by December 31, 2024), along with age group awards and a goodie bag. The fun run participants will receive an entry bracelet, with awards for the top three finishers in multiple age categories. This event aims to bolster the goals of the school's PTO, enhancing educational experiences and extracurricular activities. Early registration is encouraged as prices will rise starting January 1, 2025.
